The Water tower was finished in 1913. Restored outside, the interior of the water tower presents a technical document which we want to show to our visitors in the coming years. We are also thinking about selling the tower to be used as a house of residence or an atelier. |

A representative building, which in the past really was something to be proud of in the circle of town halls of other Mecklenburg country towns. The town hall bears the date of 1898, it was officially opened, however, only on June 12th, 1899. | |
| Administration building | ||

The building on Teterow Road 11a which is used now as the seat of the administration, has been erected at about 1900 as a grand ducal county court in neo-classicist style. Today the building is classified as a historical monument. | |
| St. Mary church The church is the oldest building in the town. The church is an Early Gothic brick building dated back to the middle of the 13 century. |

A thorough restoration in the 19th century left its mark on the building, by providing new paintings, chairs and galleries. The Renaissance pulpit of 1598 has been removed from the interior and can now be seen in the tower area. Vaulting ornamentation of the time around 1300 have been uncovered in 1880/82 and renewed. The Late Gothic St. Marys altar (around 1510/20) is the most valuable piece of furnishing of the church | ![]() |

| Thuenen-Museum-Tellow Johann Heinrich von Thuenen (1783-1850), co-founder of the agrarian site theory, worked on his estate in Tellow. In the historically developed Mecklenburg estate ensemble, visitors from all over the world get an overview of the creations of the former agronomist. |

bascule bridge The wooden bascule bridge (built in 1913) leads across the river Trebel to near the West Pomeranian village of Nehringen. The bridge is located at the historic border between Mecklenburg and West Pomerania. |
