Bernstein Amber Museum Exhibition of the nature, the history and the working of amber.
Demonstration workshop
St. Marien Church A brick building with three naves completed in the 13th. century. It acquired its present form from the alterations and plans of Johann Joachim Busch between 1765 and 1789.

The Salt Museum is unique in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern, housed in the former Salt Authority building. It has exhibits from early and prehistory and the history of the town, local crafts, guilds and the health spa.
Rhododendron Park

The park was laid out between 1955 and 1961. It covers 4,5 hectares and is one of the largest of its kind.
The 50 rhododendron species, some of them 10 metres tall, are an unforgettable sight when in bloom.
The rhododendron festival takes place here every Whitsun.
Recknitz Ancient River Course The nature reserve at "Grenztalmoor" and the protected region "Recknitzniederung" lie near the town and offer rest and relaxation to anyone just seeking peace and quiet. The "school in the greenery " has an astonishing variety of indigenous flora and fauna. The high moors are home to bird species which have sadly become rare, such as harpies, grey heron and quail.
Walking along the Recknitz to the Borgsee can be enjoyed at any time of the year.
