Trip from Stralsund along the Deutschen Alleenstrasse to Negast (bordering the idyllic setting of Lake Borgwall) - over Steinhagen (brick built church, Dutch windmill) to Krummenhagen (Eco-Village with ecological layout, weaving and pottery workshops). Continuing over Wittenhagen, Brandshagen to Niederhof; the nature reserve here is home to the largest cormorant colony in Northern Europe. The return trip is over Brandshagen and the B 96 back to Stralsund. |

Cycle tour From Klausdorf to Stralsund Distance: ca. 25 km |
From Klausdorf to Hohendorf. There is an English Tudor Gothic style Chateau (chateau hotel). The path then leads from Hohendorf over Bisdorf direct to the Boddenkueste at Kinnbackenhagen (from the lookout point you can see the nesting cranes and there is a wonderful view over the Zingst peninsula). Other stops include Gross Mohrdorf, Altenpleen and there is a fine tree lined avenue through Preetz to Stralsund. |
