The 30m. high Dutch windmill dates from 1878 and reopened in 1970. After a five year reconstruction programme it is now a landmark of which the city is justly proud. Today you can find a glas-blower and a little galery there, which you can visit. | |

The "Teufelsbackofen" and other neolithic Hun burial sites. Silent witnesses of early and prehistoric human settlement 5km. east of Grevesmühlen in the coniferous woods on both sides of the B 105/ E 22, above Naschendorf. There is a 40 metre long barrow and the legendary "Teufelsbackofen", a megalith grave consisting of nineteen monoliths, a so called "extended dolmen in a tumulus". | |

| Plüschow Chateau near Grevesmühlen |
Plüschow Chateau Built in 1763 by the Hamburger businessman Philipp Heinrich Stenglin. The initials of Grand Duke Friedrich Franz IV. are engraved over the doorway and the sumptuous stairwell inside with the many valuable rococo style stucco ceilings are well worth seeing. The chateau now serves as a culture centre for the region, where lectures, modern art exhibitions and small concerts are held. |
