Windmills have always had a certain romance about them. Mecklenburg-Vorpommern still boasts more than 100 windmill sites. A visit to these historic and majestic buildings is a worthwhile experience at any time of the year; many windmills now house interesting exhibitions of their history, some even have restaurants with an individual air. |
