Seaside resort Heiligendamm
The White town by the sea

Heiligendamm is the oldest German Seaside resort at the Baltic coast, developed as the nobilities` and high societies` elegant meeting place. Because of the classicist buildings along the promenade the town is called "White town by the sea". An attraction is a trip with the Narrow Gauge railway "Molli", classified as a historical monument, between Heiligendamm, Bad Doberan and Kuehlungsborn.
