"Festival of the Family". An amusement program for that day is prepared with
that topic in mind, with the participation of the Lord Mayor. , and the mayor of our town
takes part as well. There have already been celebrations of the pirate’s kind and in

"Sports Party"
Forest sports ground at Karpin
It’s a sporting event at the beginning of June when the clubs of the town organise
the framework of the "Sports Party".
However, it is not only the sporting clubs who can enjoy this festival – there are
also presentations by the "Eggesiner Maerchentruhe" (presenting fairy-tales),
the dogs’ sports club and various associations.

"Festival at the Randow River"
Karl-Marx-Straße Festival Area
A whole weekend celebrating the "Festival at the Randow River". A fun-fair
and artists of various branches entertain the public.
On Sunday evening, the festival ends with fireworks in the sky of the night.

"Hoppenwalde Village Festival"
Festival area in Hoppenwalde
The "Hoppenwalde Village Festival" is celebrated an a Saturday at the
beginning of September in Hoppenwalde. Similar to the "Festival at the Randow
River", prominent persons entertain the public with a varied program. |

"Eggesiner Christmas Market"
Market place
The "Eggesin Christmas Market" is held on the market place at the beginning
of December. Traders offer goods typical of Christmas and on stage, a varied program is
presented. Of course Christmas sweets, mulled wine and Father Christmas will not be
missing. |
