Water hiking around Eggesin The Randow river flows through Eggesin, and two kilometres later into the Uecker. From this confluence stems the name of Eggesin. It was invented by the "Wenden" (a Slavonic people) and has presumably the meaning of "confluence".
Friends of water sports have the possibility to make a boat trip starting from the town’s resting place for boat hikers to Ueckermuende, 7 kms North, and from there to the "Stettin Haff".

With the help of the Eggesin Riding Lodge, friends of horses can ride out or make a "Kremserfahrt" (tour with horse-drawn coach) and get to know the pleasant sights of the Ueckermuende Heath.
