The Town Hall of Parchim is situated in the town's center and in
substance a Gothic brick building of the 14th century. As the seat of the town's offices and as a symbol of the independence of the town, the Town Hall was first under the medieval buildings of the town. |
| The Town hall was renovated in 1817-1820 under Barca, the famous court and country master-builder of Ludwigslust, as director of works. The Town Hall was renovated again entirely in 1993-1997 and thus, became a special gem of the historic old town. | |
