The brick village
church stands in the center of Dierhagen since1850. In the year 2000, the church celebrated its 150th anniversary. Protestant church services and concerts are being held here. Inside of the plain church building is the ship model "Vergatte von Dierhagen 1799". An old story tells that around 1811 some seamen where hiding out in the woods in order to escape a recruitment by the French. The ship model was a gift to the people of the village for their help. |
