| Trassenheide is widely known as a
convalescence resort; it lies in the north of the Isle of Usedom.
Anyone seeking a natural setting, a quiet corner and an idyllic place, who want to swim to
their heart’s content, will find a holiday heaven here. The immaculate 3,9 km. long
beach is completely free of stones and debris. The wide shallow water right along the
coast is ideal for families with small children as there is little risk of a bathing
accident. The adjoining woodlands are ideal for strolling, hiking and cycling. In addition to the activities the maritime climate is especially healthy and beneficial to respiratory and skin ailments. The quality of the bathing water is, according to EU guidelines: "Very well suited for swimming." There is a Bus-Shuttle to the island and surrounding area. |
