The "Rugard"
Is a leisure area belonging to the Town of Bergen on the Isle of Ruegen. The bushy-end Moraine is the highest elevation of the centre of the Isle of Ruegen. This is where the "Ernst-Moritz-Arndt-Tower" Stands, an observation tower built in honour of the great son of the island. In the immediate vicinity of the tower, the redesigned Bergen open air stage awaits visitors in summer to welcome them to various performances. In ‘'Rugard’ you will also find the ‘Buggy-and-go-cart-circuit’ where adults and kids can enjoy themselves. A nature-teach-path leads through the ‘Rugard’ and along the manifold natural living spaces of the Rugard forest. |
