| The Upper Havel Waterway |
| After passing through the
Bredereiche lock and meeting Stolpsee the Upper Havel
Waterway leads to the Mecklenburg Lake District. After the Fürstenberg lock (mooring facilities) and Steinhavel you come to the first lake in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, the Ziernsee (camping). Upstream is the Menowsee (camping) and the Ellbogensee leading to Priepert where the waterway leads to Neustrelitz. After the Priepertsee and the Wangnitzsee is Wesenberg and the next lock. The way continues over the Woblitzsee (camping), the Kammer Canal to the Voßwinkel lock and then to Neustrelitz (moorings in the town harbour) and the end of this waterway. |
