Longest rivers:	The 185 km long Elde is the longest river in Mecklenburg- Vorpommern. Other principal rivers are the Peene (156km), the Warnow (128km), the Recknitz and the Trebel.
Highest peaks:	The Helpter Berg (Mecklenburg-Strelitz) at 179 m. above sea level is the highest peak in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Other principal peaks are the Ruhner Berge (Parchim) at 178 m and the Brohmer Berge (Mecklenburg-Strelitz) at 149 m. above sea level.
