The Mecklenburg Lake District

Water as far as the eye can see. Here you can find not only the largest inland body of water in Germany, Lake Mueritz, but also the largest lakeland region in Germany. With the Strelitz lakeland plain, the Feldberg lake district, the Tollensesee, the Koelpin and Fleesen lake, the Plauer See and Goldberg-Sternberg lake district.
