| The Dabel community has actually three parts of town, Dabel-Woland, Turloff and Holzendorf. With about 1.600 residents is Dabel the largest community in the former municipal district of Sternberg. |

The symbol of the town is the Dutch Windmill that was built in1892. The Doescher family owns the windmill since 1932. Fritz Doescher is a miller by trade and took over the mill in 1969. The mill is an acknowledged producing, technical monument. |

Dabel is in the middle of the
Lake Territory of Mecklenburg between Schwerin and Waren. Because of different types of soil, large forest areas, and numerous lakes, nature here shows various faces. This is the perfect destination to relax and regenerate your body and soul. |
