The Water
tower in Gnoien A spectacle of its own kind can be observed in case one approaches the "Warbel-town" of Gnoien from Teterow. The attentive traveller will recognise two towers at first glance. The water tower seems to be walking and passing by the church tower. But everything is all right: There are no "walking" towers in Gnoien. Everything is solidly in place. The church has been standing on the same spot since 1230, and the water tower at any rate since 1913. Restored outside, the interior of the water tower presents a technical document which we want to show to our visitors in the coming years. We are also thinking about selling the tower to be used as a house of residence or an atelier. |
